Ahhhh yes! My husband and I can't agree on anything. When we first found out I was pregnant we agreed on some boys names but couldn't begin to talk about girls names. We had originally agreed to wait...
I love Ezra and have tried to sell it to my husband as a name for our child however he insists that it sounds like a girls name and his mother and his friends I'm way out voted on this cute name!

When I was born my mom named me Aubrey... For three hours. She then decided that I wasn't an Aubrey and named me Emily instead. I absolutely agree with her!

My parents let me name my baby sister when I was 4. They chose two names (dad's fav,moms fav) and let me pick between them. Maybe you could do something like that.

There is a little girl that comes to my work whose name is Eila, they pronounce it ay-la though. I think it's a cute name regardless.

My sister is named Chloe which was not popular when we were kids so she would get called all sorts of crazy things like clay-ee, ch-low, ch-low-ee, or my favorite she claims someone once called her...

My mom wanted to name me Rainey my dad said NO. I was born and named Aubrey for the first hour then my mom decided I was absolutely an Emily Suzanne... and I love it!
Danielle is great! You have so many nick name options if you want, Dani, Nell, Elle..etc.I think it ages well and I also feel like it's not a name you hear super often anymore.
I was looking for a list of scottish baby names on nameberry...does one exist?

I think the names are too close... Split them down the middle and say them in reverse...pretty close. I would keep the name that has more meaning to you.
Or even Jamie...
