I knew a girl named Lysandra. She pronounced her name Lis-ahn-dra. Soft "I" in the first syllable.
I suppose you could also pronounce it LYE-sahn-dra... as derived from the Greek, Lysander. It...

Phonetically, I pronounce it like "nigh-a lee" with emphasis on first syllable.
Andreas is the definite winner (for me) based on last name and English/spanish requirement. Oscar and Ezra would be runners up. I really like Oscar with Victor as a sibset, though.
Love Callista. Not a fan of Rayne.
I also think of "Fitzgerald" before "Legend of".... so I love Astrid with Zelda.
Also like pp suggestions of Frances, Mabel, and Hazel.
Maeve Elisabeth- classic. pretty.
Beatrix Madeleine (LINE ending) Tris or Trixie or Bea- pretty. very classic.
Hazel Grace- Lovely
Scarlett Elaine "Scout"- love it
Like but don't...
I prefer Agnes myself, but agree with pp that I'm not a huge fan of the repeated "es" in Agnes Frances. Totally understand dh wanting to pick a middle now that it's his turn.
If it helps, I...
I really like August and variations thereof (Augustine, Augustus). Gus is super cute. It has a sort of classical appeal without being a straight up classic.
Thea is lovely. Torn between Claire and Clara as a runner-up. I think Thea and Rose or Thea and Alice would be cute as a sibset.
Winifred "Winnie" (though winds may shift on this one)
Love Silas. Not sure what kind of middle you want (something similar in tone or something more traditional).

I love Odette! Such a lovely choice.
I think it *might* be tolerable if it flows with the last name... but I'm not a huge fan (personally). I echo pp's who said that middles are rarely used so it won't be a huge deal in day-to-day life.
Not a fan personally. Reminds me of the name of an air freshener or laundry soap ("Morning Breeze" or "Lavender Breeze" etc.)

Lincoln True- not a fan. I agree that it sounds like a car name.
Eamon ___ - meh. I like the novelty of Eamon, but it might be a better middle (at least for me).
Holden Jude- love both names...

disclosure: I'm from the US
Agnes- like the idea of it but wouldn't personally use it
Ailbhe- spelling is far too confusing for me
Annabella/Arabella- two totally different names to me. Also, I...

I know twin boys that go by their middle names (Brooks and Holden). I can't remember their first names because they are never used. To my knowledge, neither are teased (they are in kindergarten). ...

Agree with pp. Pearl necklace is an old reference. There are a ton of names which can be turned into sexual innuendo-- kids are inventive and sometimes mean. I wouldn't let it deter you if you...

My general feeling is that any middle would be fine since it is unlikely to be used regularly, especially if you are honoring your culture and especially in a place as cosmopolitan as LA (even if...
I knew a girl in college from Poland named Zosia and she pronounced it Zo-sha.
