I think Geoffrey is a better fit. Although William is next.
Just for thoughts why not Franklin sounds like it fits right in, same era same pattern. Franklin was Eleanor's husband, think Roosevelt!

Craig- #10 I like it but it is from the 60's not nearly as old man as the others!
I would go with the softer names, as you can always nickname into something more creative. As for the Chunkier names think about the nickname for Astrid.
Milena, Evelina, Luella and Tallulah.
I really like Shiloh and don't think it may be a trending name. If you give him a masculine middle name, or a for a girl a feminine girly name it should help with the gender question.

I do not think many would associate both names unless you go by Charlie as well. Everyone loves a "Charlie"
I guess it would really never cross my mind unless you both went by Sam! I do not think it is egotitical though!

I love the name Linnea with Elora. The other names with Elora sound too hard and cold except, maybe Juliette
Elora Elizabeth is so sweet and feminine that the Linea Juliette sounds great!

For a girl I would name her Ellery Quinn or Summer Michelle
For a boy I would name him Soren Cambridge or Shepherd Reid
