I really think it is quite useable, and pretty even. It goes nicely with the Audreys, Aubreys, and Autumns, which is probably why I would think of it mostly as a girl name, though it could be unisex...

I, like mimiottawa, first pronounced it in my head as "Jez-een", which I liked better. Not too fond of the correct pronunciation, and it would be one of those where the bearer would be correcting...

Agreed with the above - the unnecessary "x's" are lame (I'm talking to you, Jaxon!), and true "x's" I just can't get enough of! My maiden name has an "x" in it, and I've always considered using it...
