Ivan and Wesley is fine, but if you're worried about the association there's always Westley (although then you get the Princess Bride association). And for some reason I much prefer the nickname West...
Another one here - I did it at Uni about 15 years ago now, and I remember being told that we're rare too ;)
I also heard a theory that some people may change over time, but I haven't done it again...
Have you tried using the Nameberry supersearch function? One of the cool things about it is you can search by the number of syllables you want.

I actually like all three, but voted for Oriana because I think it feels a little "younger". I do like the nickname Tavi or Tavia for Octavia, but it feels like a very serious name, and I'm a little...

I love a lot of these!
One that I've found has stuck in my head is Adria, from SG1. Not the nicest character, but I love the sound of the name. And my dad's name is Adrian so it feels fitting :)
Sticky: re: Dr Who Post
I was thinking about doing this for my own blog, so I'm happy to give it a go. I was going to look at the names of the actors who have played the Doctor. Or would you be more interested in seeing a...
I also know a Keir (I'm in Australia), but not well enough to know if he had any "queer" teasing when he was younger. I do know though that when my husband was first telling me about his new...
How about Arabella? Very close to Annabella if that's what your husband thinks, but people would be very unlikely to use Ara as a nickname.
Otherwise, a name starting with El would be a more...
I really like it! To answer your questions:
1. Wynne feels like a bit of a stretch, but Indie doesn't. Then again plenty of people have nicknames that aren't obviously related to their names, and...
Love Halloween! We're having friends over for drinks the Saturday night beforehand and going for a Carn-evil theme :) Hubby will be an evil clown and I'm going as a ringmaster.
I don't mind the repeated V sound, but it feels like the Maeve and Hart run together a bit, like her name would be Sylvie Maevehart. Maybe you want a second middle, or Mavis rather than Maeve? Or...
Some good middles with either Rebecca or Helen would be:
It's really hard - Imogen is such a beautiful name, and has a pretty unique look/sound. Some with possibly a similar feel:

Yes, you do think of the Loch Ness monster, but I don't think this makes it unusable. It's a cute name :)

I love Caspian. I have to laugh that you said you ruled Caspian Fitzwilliam out because after reading your first and middle names that was the combination that sprang to my mind. It is a little...

Hmmmm - blue or silver or storms...
The quote is Kendalyn's signature - she's just making the point that we're talking (not very positively) about her name.
Some surname-y and some ends in N suggestions:
Some more suggestions:
Beau or Bo (sounds like Bow as in bow and arrow)

OP said they like unisex first names, and not many of your suggestions are very unisex...
Between Dylan and Devin I'd go Dylan, although I'm not a huge fan of either. I'd be more likely to lean...
I really like nature names, and Terra is a great, underused one.
As someone whose middle name is Olivia, Alivia feels a bit off for me. Maybe I'd feel differently if I wasn't personally attached to the name....
Aviva might be a nice alternative if you're not...
