I was going to say it's fine because most people would not know that Marguerite is French for daisy, but then when you mentioned you lived in Canada, I would have to say.... no. Your example to put...
I like Finn, but I'm not loving how it rhymes with Lincoln. The suggestion of Finnegan Ezra would work better, especially if you called Lincoln, Linc.... Linc and Finn are very cute.
I think bookworm made some great suggestions. Mia is popular yet pretty and short. Logan is more unisex/trendy. I think Rory is perfect for the boy as it goes with Logan... and her suggestions have a...

My husband and I will be TTC next month and I'm suddenly getting nervous with my name list. We have one daughter named Nora Cathleen and while I like my name list, I'm afraid some of my names are too...
While I really like all 3 names, I would say Nova is a little too... "out there" for Faye. Of course, June is the obvious choice, but I think Nola could work as well. Faye and June are both classic...
I have heard of Theodore and Edward having the nickname Bear. Both names have Ted/Teddy as common nicknames so I guess that's how it manifested into Bear. I personally love it.
Have you considered...

Well, let me first put it out there that none of these are easy to pronounce! I would have to say Saevar is probably the easiest. I thought it was Say-var, but that was the closest I got. Leifur, I...

I really love the classic Nicholas with the nickname Cole. I think it gives that great balance of classic yet modern. I think Cole is a cool, masculine nickname. I've never understood the appeal of...

I definitely prefer Ruby Willow Renee or Ruby Renee Willow. I know you think Ruby Rain is cute, but if it's that important to you to honor family, then that may be what you regret most if you don't...
Wow, no wonder you're having trouble narrowing it down - such gorgeous choices! Really, the only one I would say to toss purely because the flow is off is Stella Emmeline. Both are pretty names, just...
Your girls' names are stunning! I totally can relate to having a name I love that can't use because it clashes with our last name. It's awful when nothing else seems to come close. Out of your list,...
I agree with others that it's a legit name before the books/movies. It's not like Katniss or Renesmee. That being said, even though I've read all the books, Cato still first reminds me of the guy...
I love that your daughter just owned her name! Don't you love the honesty of two year-olds? They tell you like it is! I LOVE Juniper Elise. It's absolutely gorgeous. Elise is on my list, but Juniper...

My favorite is Cecily. It's still feminine but less frilly than Cecilia or Celia. I just think it's more sophisticated but less used. I also prefer Celia as a nickname for Cecilia/Cecelia. My least...

Kind of similar to what others mentioned... Old-fashioned ones that aren't all that flowy and feminine like...
I've heard all of those things too. I didn't care. Opinions and views of names are all relative nowadays since there's such a wide variety of names out there that people use. It's not like everyone...

Marina is gorgeous! Honestly, Rose is bland. It's very overused in the middle name spot. Not to mention, I don't like the double r sounds in both Marina and Rose. It makes it not flow as well.
Ramona, Theodore, and Matilda - Romy,Theo and Tilly.
Ramona, Theodore and Penelope - Romy, Theo and Poppy/Penny/Nell/Nellie
Ramona, Theodore and Sylvia - Romy, Theo and Sylvie

Kayleigh Helen and Michael James (twins)
I immediately thought of Fallon.

I love your children's names as well as Samuel and Jack. My favorites are listed in my signature.
Other names I like (but husband nixed so I took them off my list) that made me think they'd...
I also see it as recycled. I love love love the name Catherine, but hubby wouldn't go for it since it's too popular. We ended up not even using it in the middle name spot for our daughter and went...
Evelyn Rose (both names of great aunts)
Mary Helena (another great aunt, cousin)
Karen Millie (mother, grandmother)
Eli James (grandfather, husband)
Jason Richard (brother-in-law,...
