I have always pronounced Louis like Louie. I personally prefer the Lewis spelling, but think Luis will get you what you want.
I chose them because they represent me, my loves and things that are special to me (songs, places, characters, family members, maybe friends), as well as things I want my children to be.
My favourite kinda names. :) These are all off my own list, you can find it here if you want to see the rest.
@Abby: Oh, yeah, I agree that I love England's history. But I was taught it growing up so it's just kind of "bleh" now, the excitement about the castles, going on trips to see castles and visiting...
I haven't looked at the other responses so I apologise for repeats.

I love Anna so I voted for that with Hudson.
I am not a big fan of Easton, sorry. I am a huge fan of unisex names but Easton is just all boy to me.
I don't mind it, and it's clear you have a connection to the place so I wouldn't really worry too much about other people's thoughts. Hawaiian names are so beautiful too, especially their meanings!
I also voted for Lysandra for that reason.
PS. Nice avatar, Lexie Grey is awesome. :D
@Abby: Sorry to hear about your dog. :(
In relation to the England conversation, I really don't understand why people from other countries love coming here so much! Ha, I don't see the big deal....

That's very kind of you, thanks!! :)
The only name I wouldn't be happy to get is Promise, the rest are fine. Paige, Brooke and Hope aren't really used as much anymore, but they're not out of date.

It's just like PP said, babies being named after GoT characters for example. Although their names are more wearable (I'd rather be Daenerys or Cersei than Pikachu or Snorlax), it's pretty much the...

My full boy list is here, but I will share my special ones. :)
August Henry - I have loved August since I came across it while looking for a middle name for Jude 2/3 years back. It also...
I find Bea and Belle to be too close but I like the sibset in general.
I love Annalise so I pick that. I wish I could love Annalie (and all its spellings) but my childish self just thinks of anally.
What did Katy do?
Shiloh and Meadow spring to mind. I have adored Shiloh for many years but I don't think it'd receive great feedback from family if I was to use it (I hope to get over that, though, I would love to...
