I'm occasionally shocked by the names which are popular in the US but not the UK- for instance Axel is a name that I NEVER hear over here. Similarly Elius; never heard of one.
Across the board I...

Roman Elijah & Vega Ruth
There are some names which seem to be super popular on Nameberry but then unheard of in real life..
I've heard so many berries with children named/considering the names Beatrix and Cordelia, but...
aj bear- Thanks. The names get some pretty split responses! I really love your Lavinia Ruth and Albert Felix combinations. Very stylish, and fit with the 'cool to wear at any age' vibe I vie for.
First off, I have finished having my kids. My family= complete.
But I can't help but wonder- what name would I use for a fifth. Delectably interesting to me!
So, just for fun if you will humour...

Nolan is my favourite, followed by Owen.
These two are a little close to be brothers though, if you are planning a big family. Just in my view..
Anyway, both have a very warm sound, to my ear...
Hermione- Love this name. Wish it were usable right now, but I don't see that happening for quite a while..
Clara (Klar-ah)- Sweet, pretty. Would expect a neat, girlie girl with this name. And a...

Just a bit of fun-
Imagine you're in charge of naming the next sibling in each of these celebrity families-
What would you call....
1- A sister for Suri (Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes)
It was between Finola Ruth and Finola Maribel, but the latter won out. Unusual, striking; makes Finola a little girlier, in a good way

Abra- I do kind of think along the lines of 'kadabra' and then onto Pagan, halloweeny associations.
Avorie- Really not a fan. Looks a little made up. Do you like Meredie? Coralie? Adelie?
My vote would be Blythe Felicity and Iris Annabel.
I think the balance (flow wise) is better.
Iris Annabel works perfectly in fact- graceful, poised, lovely!
My only concern with Blythe...

Just a little challenge...
If you had to name your baby after _______ what would he/she be called?
If you had to name your baby after a favourite literary character?
If you had to name your...

I love the names Clover, Maple and Juniper; also occasional word named like Reverie.
I just wish they were older and more legitimate as adult names, because I am so enchanted with the sound/image...
My daughter goes to school with a little girl named Yvette who has a sister named Laura. Always thought that one was a pretty odd fit!
Adelaide and Fiona
Adelaide and Daphne
Adelaide and Coraline
Adelaide and Cecily
Adelaide and Pearl
Adelaide and Nina
Adelaide and Laurel
Adelaide and Calliope
Adelaide and Frederick
Tobias- I know a Tobias who's 10, and a few little Tobys. I think its unusual but not too surprising as a choice. It ages brilliantly imo- can see it on a little boy or a man! Dashing! I think its...

I'm enjoying these guesses! I really hope its Flora for a girl- Flora and Elodie are perfect together. Never considered that before.
Elodie is called Dee dee and Edie a lot so I'm toying with the...
Oh gosh forgot the Nazi association. Definitely retracting that claim for Rommel!

Judith- In a minority here, but I love Judith. I think its soft and gentle sounding. The soft 'th' is popular where I am- there are Tabithas and Theas popping up, so why not Judiths? I put it in the...
Romelia- This is gorgeous (I think)
Romia (Rom-ya)- A slightly Eastern European sounding one, this is. Roots in Latin/Hebrew/Romanian
Rosamund is a heavy but lovely name, imo!
Second vote for Romola (Google Romola Garai, she's great!)
For the boys, there has been some great suggestions. Romin is particularly suave.
Romer is a...

Eugene 'Gene' (British actress Billie Piper just used Eugene Pip. I think its ready for a comeback)
Leonidas Henry- I love the familial connection here. Wouldn't usually be one of my favourite names but that swings it. Leon and Leo are so dashing
Willem Leo- Willem might just be my favourite. The...

I haven't been on here for a while but I thought this might be a fun idea..
