I think Joyce is usable, but I would use a more modern middle name with it just in case the child decides Joyce doesn't suit them (though with Ediths and Adelines running around preschools nowadays I...

Odd man out , but I think Hadley Elizabeth looks both thoughtful and sophisticated alongside Eleanor Grace.
Elena is used in Eastern European and Russian cultures , too - even if pronounced Yelena. Very pretty, very global classic name. My favorite writer right now is Italy's Elena Ferrante.
Very wearable and beautifully stylish. The two I have met were from cultural-creative/upper-class families.

The Queen's grandmother Queen Mary had a May birthday and was known as Princess May of Teck before becoming George V's consort. Princess May would be nice -- although formally my guess will be ........

Lydia Charlotte all the way! But I also like Susannah Charlotte and Isobel Charlotte.
Tess is a fine stand alone name actually. I like Betsy or Birdie as stand-alones as well. But if you still worry about them having options with their name, give them a more "proper" sounding middle...
