FWIW, my oldest daughter is named Annika (pronounced as is your daughter's) and I just had my second girl.
Our leading names were -
with Ottilie, Freya, Ingrid,...
I admit to being completely biased (my eldest daughter is named Annika), but I love the name Annika! It's different, but not wacky. While very rarely she'll be called 'An-neek-a', usually the name...
Love many of the names on your list and thought about several of them for my daughter whom I ended up naming Elsbeth.

I named my 4 month old Elsbeth! :)
I admit, I actually like the spelling Elspeth better.
BUT, my husband and I are German/Northern European in heritage, so we felt that Elsbeth reflected our...
I've always liked -
Rosemary/Rosemarie - Romy, Remy
Victoria - Vicka
Felicity - Flicka
Elsbeth - Ebby, Bettes/Bets. (My daughter's name!). :)

I have a Theodore (Theo) and an Elsbeth (Betsy).
They make a neat set.
Solid names with fun nicknames.
I know it is so hard choosing a name!

I appreciate the feedback so much!
I actually agree that I like Elspeth better than Elsbeth (although I like Elsbeth too!) - it's just that DH and I are very German in ancestry and not Scottish...
It was a lead contender for my daughter, but it doesn't work with my last name very well.
Elsa Catherine is great!

I've always thought Jane is an underused classic.
It would sound particularly good with a long last name.
Margaret would be my 2nd choice, but I'd choose a different nickname than Maisie.

I'd love some final opinions on our top three names for Baby Girl.
We're 39 weeks and contracting - kiddo will likely be here tomorrow!
Of note, our other daughter is named Annika (nn Annie). ...

Claudia and Avia hands down!
Not a fan of the others, I'm afraid.

I think Lucia is lovely, but you are likely going to have LOTS of pronunciation issues (particularly with the pronunciation you prefer.)
Personally, I love Mia and Ivy - feminine but crisp. ...

Any more input about the validity of Elsbeth as an independent name?
Would Elsbeth just always be seen as a mispronounced/spelled Elizabeth?

In fact, now I'm confused...
Didn't you just write a blog post on 12/30 called 'Unique Baby Names' that includes Elsbeth as a name?

Ah! Feedback! Love it! Thank you, all!
Feedback becomes so valuable because (among another thousand reasons) it helps one figure out what could be seen as an issue by a less-intimately involved...

Or are these truly such hideous names that no one wants to burst my bubble of hopefulness that we've finally gotten to a final three? :(

I think we're down to the name finalists! Baby Girl due in February!
Brothers M@xwell (M@x) and The0dore (The0). Sister Ann1ka (Ann1e).
Both my husband and I are German/Northern...
NO! Please don't 'trendisize' a classic name! *sob*
Both Charlotte Elizabeth and Lydia Grace are lovely!
Not a fan of Avery. All your other names seem like classic beauties, but Avery is more modern androgynous trend.

Flavia/Flavie - reminds me of 'Flava Flav' the very strange rapper.
Thora (middle name only) - I actually quite like this name, although, like you, I would have some concerns with it in the 1st name...

I'm sorry, but most are almost 'smoosh' names or names with unnecessary frills and/or elaborations for no discernible reason.
I agree with PPs.
Judith, to me, sounds very dated.
But I also agree that I think we'll be seeing a level of revival with the name.
It is the name of the lead character's baby daughter on...
