I once knew a girl with the name Natalya...it doesn't have an 'e' sound like you prefer, but is a twist on Natalie. She went by the NM Tally. I still do like Natalie though!
We are not sure if we are having a boy or girl, but if we have a girl, we'd like to honor my late grandmother by using a name related to her. We would do this by using a middle name ( as is tradition...

Thank you all for your imput! When I checked the Social Security Baby Names site, it said that Barrett is at 375 in the top 1,000 names. It made me wonder if a lot of you had met a Barrett before....
I love the name Barrett, but I am concerned it's too common. What do you think? Any other names similiar to Barrett that I should consider?
