Milena vs Violet
I love them both a lot, but Violet is on my list as both a first name (twice! oops), and as a middle name for Milena. I don't really want names to be on there twice (or more) as it makes it more difficult to pair-up names together for future sibsets and generally confuses me! I happen to think that Milena and Violet make a nice sibset. My other favourite is Eleanor Katharine Rose.
The combos I have are:
- Violet Amelie Rose
- Violet Lydia Eve
- Milena Violet Belle
Could I get some reviews on these combos? Which is your favourite? Which is your least favourite? If you prefer one of the Violet combos, could you please suggest me some other middle names for Milena? I'm so stuck! If anyone has any more middle name ideas for Violet I'll happily welcome those too, as I've already used Rose for a middle name elsewhere on my list! I'm such a nightmare ;-)
My favorite is Milena Violet Belle. I also like Violet Lydia Eve, but not as much as The Milena combo. I do not like Violet Amelie Rose. I'm not a fan of Amelia, therefore I don't like Amelie. I do like the idea of using to color/flower names though.
I definitely prefer Milena to Violet in the first name spot. But I can't stand Belle or Rose. So Milena Violet Eve?
I like Amelie but I don't think it fits as well with Milena. I like Eleanor Katherine.
I vote for Violet Lydia Eve, completely! I vastly prefer Eleanor and Violet together over Eleanor and Milena. In the past I haven't been a huge fan of Milena, but your Milena Violet combination might be winning me over.
My first idea for combos were Milena Charlotte Belle or Milena Scarlett Belle?
Milena Rebecca Belle
Milena Sophie Belle
Milena Daphne Belle
Milena Josephine Belle
Milena Lilian Belle
Milena Tess Isobel
Milena Anneliese Belle
Thanks for your responses! :)
Ooh @bluedahlia, Milena Violet Eve is gorgeous! I love it, thank you so much.
@ashthedreamer, I love Milena Charlotte Belle (though it's looong!) and Milena Sophie Belle! I actually really like Milena Scarlett Belle as well, which surprises me as I generally really don't like Scarlett! Also, I pronounce Milena [mee-LEH-nuh] and I think that's how it'd probably pronounced in the UK, if that has any bearing on your feelings of the name :)
Well, I'm glad you liked some of my combos! I really like Milena Sophie Belle, too. Milena Sophie Eve would be pretty, too, but a lot of people seem to have issues with the flow of Sophie Eve.

I feel like it's one of those names that *pow*, I suddenly have an epiphany that I love it, but when I really think about it, I'm not sure it really suits my style, but I still like/respect it. I feel the same way with Vivienne and Scarlett.
There is a baby girl (about 8 months old) in my church who is Milana Kristina, and they announced her name as mih-LAY-nah. Her family is Belarusian, though.
