My hubby really likes Ava and Emma. I think they are too popular. What are some alternatives?
He's already said no to Emmaline and doesn't really like Ada.
We are having twin girls, so the name needs to flow with Harper. I really like Brynn, but I don't think he is on board.
We also both like Noelle, but that girls are due in May.
I love the name Ava. It's one of my top names and my adoration for it makes up for any worries about popularity.
Other Em names
Emory / Emery
Emmy-lou / Emma-lou
There are some Ava variations -- such as Avalyn, Avalon, Avaline, Evalyn. Though I am far more a fan of just Ava. A lot of similar feeling names in this vein are very popular right now. Veda (vai-da) is one I've been throwing out there as well.
Maya and Lila have the same beautiful simplicity that I haven't heard as much.
Emerson? A coworker of mine has two daughters named Harper and Emerson. Also, I think Noelle has drifted more into "name" territory as opposed to word name. I don't think it's odd for a Noelle to born any time of year. People don't seem to think that Natalie should be born in December, so why should Noelle be any different.
