My husband likes Quentin too. I think of Quentin Tarantino the film director. I like how the name is not common (well it isn't in Australia) and I'm also considering a non-common name for our baby (if it's a boy). I think it's great to get out there. If your baby is born and it suits the name definitely go for it. Your family will soon associate the name with your baby and it will be like it just belongs, I just know it :)

I like it. It has a stylish rhythm - two syllables and ends in n - but isn't recently coined and isn't overused. I don't think it's typical but I don't think it's hard to explain, either. It's a great balance. I really really like Quentin.
My pastor is named Quentin -- he was the fifth of five Catholic children. As you might guess, he is no longer Catholic. He is intelligent, articulate, funny and looks exactly like John McCain. I say go for it!
