Need help with nickname!
hey Berries! I need your help!
I gave birth to my daughter, Aniella Juniper, on May 10 of this year. Aniella is pronounced "Ahn-yell-a" She was named after my great-grandmother who emigrated to the States from Poland. My great-grandmother Americanized her name to "Nellie" and went exclusively by Nellie. Fast forward to the birth of my little munchkin who has been saddled with the incredibly popular nickname of Ella.
It's not like that I don't like Ella, it's just that every other sweet baby girl I meet is some variation of Ella. And Aniella is such a beautiful and different name, I think I can do a lot more with it than just Ella. I do call her by her full name pretty often, but I think it'd be fun to have a cute nickname to call her sometimes.
So here's where I need your help. I know how creative berries can get. Any thoughts about nicknames for my little Aniella Juniper?
What about Ann/Annie? It's not brilliant but it's probably the closest I can come up with. How about Elle but pronounced like the letter L instead or Elly / Elli.
We call Big Girl; Dollie. It's a nickname from her Granny so she likes to be called that as they have a special connection. If you cant find one to go with her name, how about a nickname like that?
Beautiful name! I love Juniper and love the nickname Juni so so much!
You could also do AJ if that appeals to you.
As for nicknames for Aniella...
Yell (or maybe Yellow for something creative)
Or you could go with something that has sigificance but doesn't come directly from her name.
Annie -- pronounce ah-nee
Nina -- stretch there
That's all I've got ^_^
Oooh didn't think of AJ! Quite like that as a nickname.

I like it. :)
I too like the classic Anne.
I also love Lee for a girl, and even think Leap could work (with the p in Juniper)
Also, if you follow the Yellow theme one more degree, you could get to the nickname Sunny. :)
Okay, I think I am out of (possibly whacky) ideas!
Do you not like Nellie? I like it the most and I love that it's having a sort of comeback. I do think Annie is cute, too, and like the idea of Elle, though they both seem much more generic than Nellie.
Oh I forgot about Ana pronounced ah-nuh. Love that.
What about Anya?
Close to how Aniella and sounds like she would work as a nickname, and has a slight East European flair that goes with the beautiful Aniella.
I would use Ani / Anie pronounced Ah-nee. Aniella is beautiful!
