A sister for Penny Lee
We are expecting a little sister for our daughter in November :-) we are searching for a name that goes well with our daughters Penny Lee. We don't want anything popular but rather something unique. I also want something with a nice meaning.
Names that we are considering include:
Asta - star like love.
Sunniva - sun gift.
Jade - precious
We also like older style names like:
Eva - life
And I am really liking Lola at the moment but the meaning is putting me off. (Sorrow)
I'd love some more suggestions please :-)
Anyone have any suggestions ??? I would really appreciate some help :-)
Is Penny short for anything? I love your suggestion of Eva, but it's probably the most popular of your list. I don't think it's too popular though.
From your choices I like Jade, Eva, and Lola (despite it's meaning).
Have you considered?
Alice - maybe too popular lately?
I hope some of these help!
Jemima Rose would be very cute! Or Phoebe!
No Penny isn't short for anything. We have a Dutch double last name that's a mouthful so short names work best. From the suggestions I like
Ruby - this is my grandmothers name but she dosnt like it and goes by Marrion.
I also like Nina. So it seems to be short names ending in a :-) ill run these by the husband ( who has made very few suggestions ) thanks again :-)
I like the combination of Harper Jade.
Congratulations on your baby girl! I really like the suggestion of Harper Jade as well.
Some more suggestions (sorry for any repeats) - Amia (beloved), Cara (beloved), Farrah (happy), Felicity (happy), Allegra (joyful), Joy, Beatrix (she who brings happiness), Lana (attractive/peaceful), Jolie (cheerful/pretty), Adalia (noble), Elsie (noble), Abrianna (noble), Adella (noble), Abigail (father's joy), Bethany (house of song), Phoebe (the shining one), Naomi (beautiful/agreeable), Tabitha (beauty/grace), Bonnie, Linnea, Starlia, Alexis, Marlowe, Kirrily, Cora, Stella, Blythe, Calla, Eve, Willow, Eden, Sadie, Ariana, Josie, Zara, Jessa, Julia, Amity, Amara, Skye, Elodie, Belle, Violet and Torah.
Best of luck in finding the perfect name for your little princess.
