Mythical & Mystical Boys
I've got a top five, so now it's that time when I try to put them together into full names. Below I've tried to explain how I feel/see a name, and I've put down a combo or two for each of the names. Further down is a rather long list of possible middle names, and I've put pronunciation next to the Norse/Norwegian and EE names. If you want to help me make combos, that would be fun! Middle name suggestions are always welcome. Thank you so much!
Ancient forest at twilight, traveling roads. Men in velvet fur lined capes riding through on beautiful chestnut horses. Mystical and misty, hawks and falcons. The scent of coffee, whiskey, roses and leather. Casimir is nobility and royalty. I think of the Stark boys...
Casimir Antony Herne, Casimir Hector Winterson
Moonlight and starry skies by an ice covered lake. All blue and silver, hoarfrost on the naked trees, the snow beautifully twinkling in the starshine. Endymion's wrapped in woolen throws, reading by lantern light. I hear Justin Vernon singing...
Endymion Lucius Rainier
A woodland clearing, fairy’s dance. Oberon is dancing and flowers, things that glitter and sparkle. The sweet scent of flowers, the music of flutes and bells. Oberon is the original man, he needs to be celebrated with garlands, joy and a lust for life.
Oberon Sigurd Gawain
Young forest, the kind with the grassy grounds, mountain scenery in the background. The bittersweet romantic, beautiful and young making the loveliest music. There's something ethereal about Orpheus... "Once and for all Orpheus is where there is singing. He comes and goes."
Orpheus Brage Lorien
Like Casimir, if he'd gone a little crazy and started living in the forest on his own, hunting for food with his bare hands or a rough wooden spear. Romulus is sexy, rugged, yet quiet and intelligent. Tobacco chewing whiskey drinking warrior with a wolf for a pet.
Romulus Odin Valemon
Middle name list (sorry, I know it's long):
I'm in love with your imagery for all of these! Oberon and Romulus in particular sound like people I would love to encounter.
Casimir: I kinda like Casimir Antony Herne. The only combo I can come up with atm is Casimir Lorien Idris.
Endymion Lucius Rainier is great. Love it. Maybe: Endymion Ivo Isidore, Endymion Aries Hector?
Don't like the double G's in Sigurd Gawain. I'd make it Oberon Zephyr Gawain.
I kinda like Orpheus Brage Lorien. What about Orpheus Valemon Ranulph?
The repetitive endings of Odin Valemon are a bit choppy. Romulus Odin Isidore, Romulus Calidore Ivo?
You just made me love Casimir with your description about the name!!Definitely what I imagine my son would be. Casimir and Orpheus are my favorite although all your names are good.
Sorry iam not good in combos but I will give a try.
How about :
Casimir Oliver Hector
Casimir Wayland Thor
Casimir Lorien Odin
Endymion Gawain Hector
Endymion Darius Basil
Endymion Zephyr Idris
Oberon Lucius Hector
Oberon Rainier Thor
Oberon Cecil Odin
Orpheus Calidore Idris
Orpheus Faramir Cecil
Orpheus Winterson Peter
Romulus Isidore Lorien
Romulus Hector Cecil
Romulus Balder Odin
I am so in love with your imagery for Casimir. Casimir Antony Herne is pretty perfect if you ask me. I really want to put Odin, Wayland, and Ranulph with Casimir, but I'm awful with three name combos...
Just for fun, I dont think you need them
Some middle names :
I found them in a site and I was thinking they were interesting.
The final five are wonderful! I have had Casimir replace Rainier as my one true love on your list.
Casimir Antony Herne seems as near perfect as you can get! I also love the flow of Endymion Lucius Rainier.
For Oberon, I like Oberon Isadore Peter and Oberon Isadore Herne.
For Orpheus, Orpheus Lucien Brage and Orpheus Rainier Herne.
For Romulus, Romulus Valemon Thor and Romulus Antony Zephyr.
Ottilie, I so look forward to hearing what name you bestow on your next beautiful babe!
Oh, wow. You have some stunners here, love.
You've really made me fall in love with Peter and Rainier as middles. I'm also enjoying Dragan, Orion, Basil, and Cecil.
Casimir Peter Faramond; Casimir and Aphrodite
So romantic, so vivid. I love Casimir with Aphrodite.
Endymion Rainier Dragan; Endymion and Aphrodite
Such a hero's name. I think this is my favorite with Roo.
Oberon Basil Ivo; Oberon and Aphrodite
Oberon can definitely stand up to Aphrodite...what a superb name.
Orpheus Peter Vasiliy; Orpheus and Aphrodite
Definitely a name with potency.
Romulus Peter Isidore; Romulus and Aphrodite
I love the strength of Romulus.
Yay Casimir is still on the list! He's defiantly my favorite! My favorite combo though is Endymion Lucius Rainier, it's perfect!
My favorite Casimir combo is probably Casimir Antony Hern, but I like Casimir Antony Peter better. I fell in love with Peter as a middle name after reading your Peter post. Other Casimir combo ideas:
Casimir Faramond Peter
Casimir Peter Calidore
Casimir Zephyr Wayland
Casimir Peter Odin
I'm not gonna suggest any more Endymion combos, because you've already found a perfect one
Oberon's really grown on me, I wasn't too sure about it at first. Some Oberon combos:
Oberon Hector Gawain
Oberon Peter Gawain
Oberon Peter Isidore
Oberon Ivo Lucias
Oberon Peter Lucias
Orphaus Robin Brage
Orphaus Peter Brage
Orphaus Oliver Rainer
Romulus Peter Ivo
Romulus Ivo Calidore
Romulus Odin Cecil
Casimir Antony Rainier (I think I suggested this at some point, but am bringing it up again because these are my favorite initials ever)
Endymion Lucius Rainier (Is still the winner for me. It is all but perfection, incorporating everything you love and have wanted to use in a combo)
Oberon Gawain Vasiliy? Oberon Gawain Calidore? (Oberon Gawain I like, but am not a fan of Sigurd with it due to the mentioned double G sounds)
Orpheus Herne Earendil? Orpheus Vasiliy Gawain? (apparently I like Gawain and Vasiliy paired together with the O names, lol. Love Earendil here.)
Romulus Antony Odin? Romulus Peter Lorien? or Romulus Isidore Peter... (hmm, I think I'm stuck on Peter and the wolf, hehe. I love it!)
~The middles I like best, mostly "normal" names. (To be totally honest I think only Earendil stands up to Illyria for me... even Lorien sounds a bit too feminine this time around. And I'll also give the honor to Rainier as both a place/nature and honoring option. Rainier must be used. <3)
Odin (over Thor which is becoming trendy)
Vasiliy (is Vladimir no longer a choice?)
