Balder is one of my favourites too, but I don't think it's that usable in English speaking countries...
Lorien suddenly popped into my head! But then I thought maybe you'd like something more masculine?
Silvan/Silvanus/Sylvan (or is Sylvia/Silvia on your girl list?)
Colby (to close to my husband, Cody), Levi (ex boyfriend) and Will (current room mate) are out.
So far I'm mulling over Cole, Drake, Remi (Cody goes "Oh you are so a Remi!" So we'll see there), Vaughn, Silvan (though probably going to have to say no there since Silvana is my number 2 girls name. Sigh), Zane.
I've been thinking about it and as much as I want a long, gorgeous name like Orpheus or Cassian or Peregrin or anything else on Ottilie's list, I think I'm going to need a short name. Short, strong names just fit me. So, now we're going for short, strong, and unusual.
Bump I'd still like a little help here.
Rook....can't get much cooler
Thanks for the responses! Out of the other suggestions I liked Sage, Grey, Roan. I like Nyx too, but Nyx is a girl in Greek mythology. After thinking about those other ones, I've decided they don't work.
I'll try the Otter method: I need something bouncy, lively, AIRY (as air is my element), fun but that still could belong to an artist and intellectual. Picture sitting on a windy hill and the life but serenity you feel with the wind on your face, then picture the exhilaration you feel white water rafting with the wind and water stinging those same cheeks. That's sort of what I want with my name, something that brings together both sides. Maybe I'm asking too much >.<
So right now the choices seem to be between Remi and Zane, but I'm not sure and would love to have some more options with that description in mind.
Wow, thank you for sharing. I consider myself to be pretty deep in the LGBT community where I live and I have not heard of bigendered people. Thank you for informing me! I am not great with name suggestions, but I really would like to help you. I need to really think about it and get back to you! :)
