Archibald – I prefer Archer as a full name for Archie, but this is quite cool.
Burton – NMS, but Tim Burton gives the name a chance at stardom.
Seymour – As a video gamer, all I see is Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy X. He was one of the main villains with a typical JRPG hairstyle and horrible voice acting. So not for me.
Stanley – I like Stan, but not Stanley.
Beaulah – I pronounced this as Bway-luh, but I'm pretty sure it's like Bo-luh or Boo-luh, and I despise those spellings.
Doris – Not brave enough to use...
Edna – See Doris
Ethel – Pretty
Eunice – I prefer Eudora, but Eunice has caught my eye lately.
Gertrude – Too harsh for me, although True/Rue is a modern nickname.
Helga – Prefer Hedwig.
Hortense – I have a soft spot for Ortensia, but Hortense is...
Irma – ERMAGERD! (Go onto Google Images and search)
Joyce – Prefer Joy
Phyllis – Prefer Philippa
Shirley – NMS, but I can see it coming back.
Here are some of my favorites that are so far, they're in:
I love Stanley! Shirley, Ethel and Joyce are pretty as well. Shirley and Stanley are the only ones I'd consider for myself.
These also interested me:
Enid - four-letter dynamo
Selma - Hollywood exotic
Basil - spicy word name
Edgar - along the lines of the popular Edward/Ed- name
Franklin - Frank could be the new Jack
Leon - Leo but dressed up
Mortimer - elegant surname with nickname possibilities
Percy - definitely can see this one
Rudolph - Hollywood comeback
Sure they could be used, but most aren't appealing to me. To each is own. I do like some older names like Matilda, Rose, Grace, Hope, Joseph, William. I know there are more, but I can't think of them right now.

I do agree with this list, however.
