What are your thoughts on Maixabel? It's pronounced "my'sha-bell"
It's an old Navarran name, it's very uncommon, and is a compound of Maria Isabel. I met a young Maixabel last year, and came across Maixa (my-sha) and I'm quite infatuated with both the names.
Do you think Maixa/ Maixabel are any more complicated than something like Saoirse in North America? Usable, or no?
I like the feel of Seraphine, Eulalia and Maixabel together as a sister set, too (not that I'll ever use it).
Anyway- reactions on Maixabel, or Maixa?
I love it, but it looks made-up to me. Pronunciation would be an issue, though. I thought it was pronounced like "Mike's a bell".
It sounds beautiful, but I think pronunciation would be a real issue. I love the Maria Isabel smooshes but this one would be tough.
