Malcolm or Malachy?
Malcolm, only because unless the person is Catholic I doubt they will pn Malachy the right way.
Linus or Silas?
Linus. LOVE this name so much I used it myself. ;) Plus everyone who hears it loves it.
Vincent or Evander?
Vincent. Love the nn's Vin, Vinny and Vince. Evander is way too "Holyfield" for me personally even if its a great name.
Ozias or Ossian (pronounce o-sheen) ?
Not sure exactly how to pn either of these ones, so I cannot comment. I like the "look" of Ozias though.
Ignatius or Cosmas?
Ignatius. Iggy is a super nn!
Valen or Valente ( VAL-EN-TAY)?
Pryor/Prior or Peter ?
Peter. Prior is too "Richard Pryor" for me personally. Plus "Pry-er" just sounds strange as a name.
Abram or Remi/Remy?
Abram. I know several female Remy's.
Desmond or Sullivan?
Gosh, hard one! I love both of these names. Desmond was on our short list for one of my children (yes, this was during the hey-day of LOST but we are Beatles fans as well ;) ) and I love Sullivan with the nn Sully. (Plus the Counting Crows song "Sullivan Street" reminds me of a particular time period in college when I was trying to figure a bunch of life stuff out, so its sentimental for me)
Lawrence or Lawson?
Lawrence. And I do love Larry as a nn, even if many feel its "dated". "Son" names are nms.
Luther or Lewis?
Roman or Mercer?
It's a tie.
Felipe or Matvey?
Can I say neither without being rude? ;)
