Sister for Tage
I need help and you guys are the experts! Some background: My husband is Indian, I am Caucasian. We named our son Tage, as an "american-ized" spelling of Tej and later found out that it is also a Scandinavian name. The thing I love about the name Tage is that everyone I meet in the US has never heard of it. Now we are having a little girl - in 10 weeks - and I don't have a clue as to what to name her. Something most people haven't heard of is preferable, but I want something simple too. Any ideas?
Tage is adorable. Congratulations on your baby girl. Here are some names that may work
Well, unique sound combinations are a lot more common for girls names, so it'll be difficult to find something nobody's ever heard of.
Here's a few I think are pretty:
Zahra (beautiful, fair in colour)
Reva (a star)
Sachi (wife of Lord Indra)
Farha (happiness) also, Faria
Kalika (a bud)
Kesari (saffron; a lion)
Ila (earth, speech - Indian)
Nanna (brave, daring - Scandinavian)
I know boy girl twins called Taj and Poett. They are also native american and white. Really cute!
Congratulations and best of luck!
