I love it - I wanted to use it for a girl, but we already have a Levi and it would have been a little too over-the-top Old Testament :)
I agree it might be confusing to those people who aren't familiar with the Old Testament, but as long as you're fine with correcting people, it's a great name with significant meaning.
I would pair it with a middle that doesn't also end in n (Canaan Nolan sounds a little rhymey) and one that isn't "too Biblical", just to balance it out a bit.
That's true! I just threw some idea middle name thoughts. Back to the drawling board with names. At least the middle haha.
