Pierrot le Fou
Bonnie and Clyde
Sid and Nancy
Sex and Lucia
To Catch A Thief
I'm a HUGE movie buff! I love artsy, foreign and classic films the most.
The last movie I saw in the theaters was Spring Breakers. It might not be everyone's thing as it's pretty brutal & explicit but I thought it was kind of amazing.
Okay, I love so many of these! Here are some that I love that I don't think have been mentioned yet.
Milo & Otis
Footloose (the original)
Little Shop of Horrors
A Life Less Ordinary
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Blood and Chocolate
Books on film:
Water for Elephants
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Interview with a Vampire
Stand by Me
Circle of Friends
The Neverending Story
The Stand! One of my fave books! I used to have this recorded on tape and watch all 8 hours of it on weekends when I was bored.
I can't think of many new ones. Most of them were probably already mentioned. That and I have seen a lot of zombie movies and they are not everyone's cup of tea.
Oh I thought of a recent one that was really good: Looper
I'm probably going to sound like a nerdy child, but I love...
Harry Potter (movies and books)
Chronicles of Narnia (movies and books)
The Hunger Games (I think...I liked the books anyway, but I was pregnant when the movie was in theaters and all I could think about for at least half of it was how bad I needed to pee! LOL!)
The Hobbit (fell asleep watching every night for a week after DH brought home the DVD)
The Secret of Kells (the animation style is just gorgeous!)
Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away (you know, all of those.)
The Golden Compass
The Last Unicorn
The Secret Garden
A Little Princess
Anne of Green Gables
Back to the Future
Beauty & the Beast
There are others, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.
