opinions on these names?
My friend asked me to post this list for her as she has no internet at the moment and can't get onto the site. She said she want's opinions and other name suggestions if possible.
I think she said her favorite at the minute is Nicholas Tyde
Harry - in North America, it's just "hairy".
Hunter - too violent
Connor - Overused
Tyde -it makes me think of the soap brand Tide and there's no use trying to hide behind the trendy "y". Second image would be of water.
Leon - "dated". I prefer the spunkier Leo.
Leon- I prefer Leo or Lionel
Tristan: I like this name but it is very popular if that is a concern
Tyde- I have never seen this name before, it reminds me of the laundry detergent
Lucas- Handsome, classic and I also love the nns Luke and Luca
Silas- I like it
Nicholas- like Lucas, also Nick and Cole are great, strong nns
Evan- again, popularity may be an issue, how about Ewan/Euan or Donnan?
Harry- I love Harry, could also be a nn for Henry
Hunter- this isn't really my style and seems kind of dated now, how about Forrest or Hudson?
Levi- This is one of my favorite biblical names, some similar names to me are Asher, Ezra, Jude and Micah
Connor- I would suggest something a little different like Conrad, Conall or Callum
Mostly very common choices... I like Leon and Silas, and highly dislike Tyde (I wouldn't use it unless there's a special meaning... it's too similar to the laundry detergent). I also dislike Harry, as it's a nn... it needs a proper name like Harold or Harrison.
