Whadya think of Thea and Thalia and how would you pronounce them? I like all the pronunciations I've seen of both but I say Thee-uh and Thay-lee-uh.
Love these names. I say Thee-ah and Ta-lee-ah. But I don't know if that is correct. It's just how I say them.
Thea is lovely as a nn for Althea. Very pretty :)
I say Thay-uh and Ta-le-ah.
I say TAY-a (like Téa) and TAH-lee-ya
I say THEE-uh and TALL-ya
Theeya and Tallya
I say (and adore) Thea thee-yuh (soft th as in thalidomide, not voiced as in the).
Thalia = TAH-lee-uh, but wouldn't question TAHL-yuh.
I say Thea like Thee-Ah and Thalia like TAHL-yuh though Ta-lee-uh isn't too bad.
I like Thea best out of the two. It's spunky to me.
I say Theeya but I think I got that from Nameberry because I've only known one Thea and she was a Tay-uh. I prefer Theeya.
I've never known a Thalia but in my head I say Tah-lee-ya. I love the sound of it but I'm not a fan of the silent H. It would def be mispronounced a lot.
I say Thee-uh
Thalia is a tough one. I follow the lead of the family member introducing me. I have heard Tahl-ya rhymes with Dahlia most often.
