I live in a very nice neighborhood in a major city in the mid-Atlantic of the United States. People tend to be a little more conservative than I am here. Some of the names of children around me are:
Nicholas nn Nico
I live in a small town in Utah. The most popular, I would say, are Lily and Sophie for girls and Jackson (sometimes spelled Jaxon) and Ashton for boys.
Jacob, Jacob , Jacob. Every boy here in rural northern New England seems to be named Jacob, Liam or Mason. School aged girls are all Brianne, Brionna, Brianna or Sierra or Ashley.
Little doubles I know are named Addison, Madeleine, and Iris.
I live in a large city in Maryland. A lot of the names popular here I would classify as yuppie names. There are a lot of Eve's, Eva's, and Ava's. Caleb and Jacob are pretty popular. Some unexpected names I've heard: George, Tobin, Taj, Geraldine, Opal, Artemis.
I live in a rural, but artsy, somewhat funky area of New England. Some names in my kids' preschool and daycare classes are:
Dexter (my 2 boys)
