Rowena :/ Like... the letters are there but the sound isn't. For example, I could sort of understand Rosie as a nickname for Rowena because of the 'ro' sound but there's no corresponding noise in Rowena that matches Ren other than 'r'.
I like Rowena Lucy but feel like it's a bit much with Pearl on the end. Maybe it's the rhythm of the two short names? Rowena Lucy Margaret (with the meaning of pearl) is nice too :)
I think Ren works. Cute!
Best of luck!
I just found out the correct pronunciation is "roe-WEEE-nuh" which just ruins the name for me. I've always said "ruh-WEN-uh". Now all I can think of is some guy taking a really long leak. :/
Thanks for the suggestions!
Seren--I prefer Serena
Kerensa--Very interesting. I've never heard it before!
Mirren--I was hmm, Mirren. Cute. I think Mirrena sounds better, though. Oh wait... Yeah. Don't want to name my kid after a brith control product.
I really like Maren, but Marin is my late brother's name so it seems masculine to me.
