As in Al Capone? Not the best namesake... Their parents' taste is kind of inconsistent. You have Brandon and Austin which are top of the line 90's names and then you have Capone which is... scary and Rydier, which I'm having some trouble figuring out... Is it pronounced like Ryder or is it "RY-dee-er"?
Also, I'm going to throw this out there... Pony is not a good nickname for anyone, much less a boy. Unless you're Ponyboy Curtis, in which case, stay gold!
Well I have wondered when the surname trend would get less Anglo but that is an interesting choice!
This is exactly the kind of wannabe-badass boys name that I absolutely can't stand. Especially given the rash of violence in this country, it seems like the worst kind of bad taste to name your poor kid after a murderer. There is nothing glamorous or edgy about it.
I am not a fan. The name doesn't sound bad; I just refuse to name my child after a cigar!!! Forget it!!!
Horrible. Al Capone?
Terrible nickname Pony too.
