Boy names ending in a?
So I noticed I like a lot of names that end in -a (Luna, Flora, Euphemia, Ezra) But the only boy names I know that end in a are Ezra and Luka (not a huge fan of Luka). Are there anymore? (Trying to expand my list)
I like "uncommon" names, I don't want to say "unique" since I would like for the name to have been heard of.
Ezra, Josiah, Jonah, Nehemiah, Joshua, Noah. Obviously, I'm getting ready for church this morning, as all my suggestions are Biblical names!
Assuming Joshua is too mainstream for you:
Alyosha, Misha, Sasha
Tuvya/Tovia (both forms of Tobiah)
That's all I can think of at the moment. Mostly Hebrew and Russian names.
I love Nikita! It's on my guilty pleasure list for a boy, as I think most people here would associate it with hot female spies... or Khrushchev.
Some of these may be a bit out there for you, but there's also:
I like Sasha and Misha, but I worry that in America it will be seen as a girl's name and not a boy's name... Isra is too close to Ezra and I like Ezra better. :)
Asita (ah-SEE-tuh) is the only one I can think of - it's from the Sanskrit and means "tranquil, dark, blue, warm, hot" apparently. I'll come back if I think of any more - good luck.
