Girl sibling for Zara?
I have a 2.5 yr old daughter named Zara and am due to have my second baby in a couple of months. We don't know the sex of the baby. We have a boy name chosen - Luka. We are having difficulty loving another girls name as much as we loved Zara.
- We are both of European background
- Our surname is three syllables and ends in 'I'
- We like short names (no more than three syllables) with a bit of spunk.
Girls names that we like:
Lucia (although if we had a boy in the future we feel as if we couldn't then use Luka which is our fave boy name)
Zoe (although don't like the idea of 2 'Z' sisters, maybe a bit matchy?
Names that I like, but that my husband feels are not suitable
I would LOVE to hear any other suggestions, or thoughts on the names we do like.
Thank you in advance!
Hmmmm... This is bit of a long shot, but what about Nova?
As I started reading your post I thought Cleo, but saw your husband vetoed it, perhaps Chloe instead?
Other suggestions; Ava, Ingrid, Greta, Zali (but I agree on the 'matchy' issue), Coco, Astrid
I like Matea from your list. Lucia too, but if you really want a boy name Luka (I prefer Luca spelling), I won't suggest this.
I love PP's suggestion of Rosa, Livia or Nadia.
Love, love Matea!
Also, Phlippa/Pippa, Phoebe, Sadie, Anna, Nina, Hannah, Noa, Lilah, Layla
Zara and Nina
Zara and Tessa
Zara and Greta
Zara and Stella
Zara and Ivy
Zara and Clara
Zara and Matea is a good combo too!
And the name Luka for a boy is great !
