Thoughts on these names!
After adding a few more names onto my "strong and adventurous" girl names, I'm looking for some opinions on these names. Suggestions are appreciated as well.
Althea "Ali, Thea"
Thank you in advance. What an awesome site Nameberry is!!!!!
Alice - Love love! It has a little of everything, strong, yet feminine, whimsical yet down to earth.
Althea "Ali, Thea" - I don't really see this as a strong name; I imagine a petite little girl that moves with extreme grace and delicacy.
Bridget "Bridie" - Bridget is a great, strong name, but I don't like with the nickname Birdie.
Cassandra "Cassie" - Again, I don't see a outgoing, strong willed girl with this name. Instead, I see a bookworm that prefers to avoid conflict.
Jane - Love! This name is like Alice to me.
Lydia - Lydia Bennet really gives this name some stubbornness. I like it!
Nora - A soft name to me. It just doesn't seem to have the weight that Bridget has or the personality Lydia does.
Bridget's nickname would be Bridie, not Birdie. But thank you!

I love your taste! Bridget has never quite won me over, but I think all the rest of the names on your list are great! I especially like Alice and Cassandra. (And I see Cassandra/Cassie as strong, fwiw)
Cassandra nn Cassie is in my top two, so obviously I LOVE that one! I also like Alice and Bridgit, but I don't like Bridie as a nn.
Ranked in order :)
1. Alice - Love
2. Althea nn: Thea - Really like
3. Cassandra nn: Cassie - Pretty
4. Nora - Cute, but feels neither strong nor adventurous
5. Jane - Plain
6. Lydia - Forgettable
7. Bridget - Dislike
I'm a Cassandra "Cassie" and I seriously LOVE your Cassandra combo, I wish my mom had named me Cassandra Vivienne, so pretty!
