Number 3 on the way!
I'm now expecting number 3! Looking for some suggestions for names you think would fit with our daughters names: They are Jemima and Louisa. Our surname is Hunningford.
We like names along the lines of Lavinia, Imogen, Bianca and Imelda for girls. We love the nickname Gil for a boy. I really like Gilbert but just looking for any other ideas of names than could be shortened to Gil? Our taste in boys names is fairly varied: we did consider Merrill, Aelred and Maxwell previously.
So suggestions for both girls and boys please!
For girls: Heidi, Georgina, Heather, Rosa, Phoebe, Grace, Freya, Willa, Rhian, Eleanor, Karson, Ottilie, Polly, Xanthe, Alberta, Ramona, Matilda, Zoe, Eve / Evelyn, Bethan / Bethany, Ashleigh, Emily, Hollie, Isobel, Nina, Veronica, Vanessa, Juniper, Tina, Ursa, Daphne, Kimberly, Roberta, Neve, Alexandra. And for boys: Gillard, Gilford, Henry, Maxfield, Beckett, George, Bennett, Carter, Maxim, Samson, Billy, Bobby, Cartill, Cameron, Teryll, Skander, Kade, Oliver, Parker, Bridger, Frederick, Albert, Fox, Vincent, Wolfe, Alexander, Danny, Vance, Devon, Isaac, Tobias, Sebastian, Sidney, Zander, Jeremy, Melark? :) Hope these have helped.
Apart from the fact that it is another L name I think Letitia meaning happiness would be pretty
Gilbert is great
Lionel (another L name)
Gwilym could be shortened to Gil, but unless you have a William you want to honor, Gilbert is probably your best route.to Gil.
Jemima and Louisa are terrific! My suggestions - Virginia, Viola, Althea, Celia, Helena, Marina, Charisa, Charita, Honors, Annora, Portia, Rowena, Estella, Antonia.
Thankyou very much for all the suggestions. I like these:
Girls: Imogen, Imelda, Elinor, Isobel, Miriam, Emma, Clara, Helena, Miranda, Sylvia and Althea.
Boys: Maxwell, Gilbert, Henry, Frederick, Sidney, Oliver, Charles, Edward, Barnaby and Hugh.
