I LOVE unusual word names! Some of these are awesome I think I need to add some to my ever growing list: some of my favorites on my list are Knowledge, Iridescence, Halloween, Adventure, Apprentice to name a few.
Kaleidoscope isn't on my list but I love it.
I love almost every one of the Welsh names you listed. Aderyn was on my list for awhile but I got such negative responses that it looked trendy or made up... I scrapped it. I love Celyn! What a cool name. I actually love the name Kellen/Kellan so Celyn would be a cool way to get that sound but less common. It does look somewhat trendy though... those pesky Y's.

Blij ("glad" in Dutch)
I love today's blog post. It featured Solitaire which I thought was really cool. It also mentioned Domino, but I think I prefer that on a boy. I'm not sure why.

I've always been fond of 'Peach' or 'Peaches' (after Peaches Geldof)
I think peach is just a nice sounding word. "Just peachy!"
One I saw today on a cat in the shelter: Lute
If Harper is a name, Lute can be too. Plus it'd be adorable on a little boy and nn possibility of Lu/Lou.
Sorry for any repeats!
Girls: Star, Starlight, Starling, Sparrow (unisex), Feather, Bluebird, Meadowlark, Mayflower, Petal, Poet, Sonnet, Treasure, Reverie, Cameo, Indigo, Lake, River (unisex), Ocean, Cascade, Silver, Saffron, Honey, Lemon, Clove, Fancy, Glory, America
Boys: Brick, Branch, Garland, Garnet, North, West, Win, Crew, Arrow, Dagger, Dart, Dash, Cannon, Quill, Penn, Shepherd, Bay, Nile, Sterling
The names I chose: Merryweather and Kestrel
Also, I knew a boy named Canyon which did NOT fit him well at all as he was small and sickly. I had chosen Kateri and am glad I didn't use it because she was just name a saint and will be more recognized.
BTW, my girls have 2 middle names as the third slot is for honorific names for special people. So we have Merryweather Lyric Caroline and Kestrel Emerson Peri. Our boy to be is Reed Patrick Christopher.
Just wanted to add that the people who love certain names that the other people in their life HATE? That means the general population will hear your kid's name and hate it, too. listen carefully to the response and be kind to the baby.
With that being said, those of you who love Auralie or Aurily, etc it sounds like ORALLY and nobody wants that.
