  1. what whirligig said! where has your face gone?
  2. Ah, well, Illyria is gorgeous, so you can't go wrong there. And Illyria and Tinuviel are pretty much made to be sisters!
  3. Yeah, it's a bit sad. Husband has decided he wants to use Illyria for our Rooling instead of Aphrodite (he's been unhappy with it for a while) and I felt Desdemona and Illyria would be a bit Shakespeare heavy maybe? Hmm... maybe down the road though. Good news is that he loves Tinuviel with Illyria, and I do too. So lose some, win some, right?
  4. Oh my gosh, I just noticed you changed some names in your signature! I'm so sad to see Desdemona gone, and elated to see Pandora and Tinuviel back.
  5. I keep posting at the same time as other people. Too funny. Here's to indecisive, hormonal men who won't admit it. We went for a walk last evening and somehow ended up talking about the valkyrie, which is sort of a guilty pleasure middle name of mine. SO knows this because I've talked to him about it, but he suddenly says he thinks it would make an interesting middle name. Bonk. That was me hitting him on the head. I've decided I'm just going to start bonking him and not say a word, let him come to his own conclusions about why he's being abused because he doesn't seem to listen to a word I say.
  6. We posted at the same time, and then I closed so couldn't edit in my reply to you! So here goes; super excited that you too like little Ceri. Men are crazy! They say we're the hormonal crazy ones but they're annoying and indecisive sometimes. Aaargh!! But I'm happy now. Lovely profile photo by the way! Yay for leaves!!
  7. Oooh, I'm so glad you like it! Jeanette Winterson's books are like poems to me, I like to take them out and read a passage here and there. They're not the kind to race through... I like to be snuggled up in a cosy chair with a glass of wine or a cup of tea when I read them. Yes, Casimir Odin Rohirrim is amazing! Husband's favourite, so it's a very good chance this will be the one we'll go with.
  8. Casimir Odin Rohirrim!!! I'm so glad to see him back on there. Although the other two Cas options are amazing, I gotta say Ottilie, Casimir Odin Rohirrim is probably one of my favorite names ever. I can't even put into words why I love it, but it just soars for me. It's the epitome of PERFECTION. No pressure or anything of course. I'm still working my way through Lighthousekeeping, btw. I find it's one of those delicious little books I like to sip and ponder and wade through lazily in little bits. Thanks again for the book suggestion.
  9. Yay! Oh, I'm so happy you got one, it's a fantastic book. Silver's always on my middle list, and this book is what made me fall in love with Isolde again. It's wonderful! Hope I'm not overselling here... and Eimrja, isn't she wonderful with Cleo? I really love that match! Now I'm going to go and play some more with Lorelei!
  10. Ugh, I'm a dope. I meant to post that I found a copy of Lighthousekeeping today and was distracted by Eimyrja. The first line totally sold me on it. "My mother called me Silver. I was born part precious metal part pirate." Thanks for the recommendation, I'm looking forward to reading some of it tonight.
