We’re delighted to welcome you to our big, new baby-naming site and invite you to become part of the Nameberry community.  To help you choose the perfect name for your baby, we’ve put together a unique selection based on the nine books–including The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names–that we’ve written together over the past 20 years.  This gives you access to more than 50,000 names, each with its origin, definition, and our own pithy opinion, which you can search for by style, derivation, or meaning–or all three.  From this, you can create a list of your personal favorites, to save or to share with your spouse, family and friends.

Sign up for a daily email update, and you’ll receive a fresh shipment consisting of our blog (covering our analyses of newsworthy naming events and our thoughts on trends and individual names you might be considering), our name pick and namesake of the day, a cool list of the day (ranging from Names Kids Love Having to Names Headed to Harvard to Names Sure to Shock Grandma), and newly hatched Starbabies.  We hope you’ll also sign up to participate in our name discussion boards, and other features to be added down the road, such as polls and quizzes, and all kinds of other fun stuff  we haven’t even thought of yet.  Suggestions are always welcome!
