I really like Tee or Just T for Tia, Tina and Tegan. SO cute.

My sister Anastazija (pronounced Anastazia), couldn’t pronounce her name when she was younger, and said ‘sdaisy’… Now the entire family (quite large), calls her Daisy.

My parents called me (Marija/Maria) Mimi when i was younger but it never stuck.. People at school used to call me Maz which I hated.. Y’know, like Gaz and Baz D;… My cousin-in-law Marie, gets called Mimi all the time anyway, so cant really use it.

I always tried to get people to call me Ria, aswell but no one ever did.

Have also heard Masha for Maria, and Marcie.

Also love Nettie for Annette, Hattie for Harriet and Hettie for Henrietta!

There is this girl whose name was Taylor but she went by Bug… I thought that was cool! But then I got to know some people who gave nicknames from there initials: JJ, AJ, KC. Now that inspired my nickname:)

I ended up as “Bucket” in my family. My name is Meredith but one of our family friends’s child couldn’t say it and instead said Merefruss. That got shorten to Fruss for a while, and my dad will sometimes still call me it. Fruss then became Frussbucket for some reason and then shorten down to Bucket when I was about 10 and it stuck.

My grandmother was Elizabeth called Betty except for one cousin who called her Bessie. Her sister-in-law was Margaret called Marga. One of my nieces is Annalia and we call her Lia mostly but because her last name begins with B, she’s also Lia Bia. My other niece is Lilia Elizabeth and while she’s mostly called Lili, she’s such a peanut she is called Lil Bit or just Bit. One of my cousins’ names is Alexandra Elizabeth and she’s been always been Alye Beth.

I’m Alison but almost exclusively go by Ali. My family calls me Alze (pronounced like Al’s) or Alzer. My younger brother went through a stage where he teasingly called me Big Al.

Our pet cat’s official name is Jordan but we call her Mowwer (rhymes with power) and sometimes Mow-Mow and Meower-cat. Haha

As a Penelope I’ve had Nell and Eppie as well as Penny which I changed to Penni as an 80s kid and then got stuck with forever. (Thank goodness it wasn’t Pennii like Dannii Minogue).
