Names from television and movie Westerns sometimes got a lot more adventurous than Josh and Jesse. In fact, Westerns are responsible for reviving scores of antiquated classics that might otherwise have disappeared completely, along with introducing unconventional animal and word names as firsts. I love the names Denver and Ryder for a boy, and Sierra for a girl.
Arizona reminds me of Grey’s Anatomy, the spunky pediatrics doctor. Ha ha so that one is ruled out for me.
But Denver was on my favorites for a while, as a middle name to Charles, but it sounded so old-school. So, I’ve been trying to come up with a more modern first name to pair with Denver.
Ryder is also on my favorites, again, as a middle name. I paired it with Jackson and I think it sounds cool. I love Ryder for some reason! Ha ha it’s great.
Sierra was also on my favorites for a little while as a middle name (weird why that happens with these kind of names), for Evelyn Sierra Mae. But yeah, I think Sierra is very pretty!
Dakota is kind of annoying to me… I don’t know why, but it just is. And Canyon is strange too.
But other than those, I love these names. Ha ha
